Anyone using Brodix Race Rite oval ports?
I already gathered all parts needed for my 454 build-up, excluding pistons and heads (because of different chamber sizes)
I was planning to use Performer RPM heads until I came up to this set, is anyone using these heads or have any info on them? they have smaller intake ports, bigger intake valves, and seem to flow a little bit more, even with the smaller ports...
Any help appreciated!!
Thanks!

I looked at them real hard. If time is a concern you may want to call Brodix direct, cause 2 months ago when I called the Big block RR heads were not even available yet and will not be till end of summer (even though Brodix is advertising the shit out of em)
I love everything about the heads but a little high in price. I am torn between them and Canfields aluminum rect ports for my BB build . Good luck.

Called Summit yesterday, and they were available. They do cost about $ 170 more that the Edelbrocks so I don't know if they are worth the extra bucks for a street car, but they seem impressive as they flow a little more (compared both flow charts) even though they have 20 cc's less in intake volume (maybe because of the bigger intake valve).
I'll be using an RPM intake (already got that one) so my other concern will be matching the runners to the intake ports...
Any more info will be appreciated as I am on a hurry!!

You said you are also looking at Edelbrocks for $170. less.
I am assuming you are speaking of Edelbrocks oval port aluminum heads. If Im not mistaken those are 110cc heads while the Brodix RR ovals are 119cc. Can make quite a bit of difference with comp ratio. I assume you realize this correct?

Yes, those are the heads I'm referring to, I know they have a semi-open (110cc) chamber, that's why I haven't confirmed my pistons yet, depending on dome size comp will be around 10.4 with the RPM heads (-14cc dome), and 10.2 with the RR's (-25cc dome).
I asked around before and been told that Performer RPM heads are a great choice for the street, just wandering if switching to RR-O heads will be of benefit...
Thanks!
