    Casting Help Please!

    I just bought a 1968 Camaro with a new 700 tranny plus a 454 but I'm not sure what's inside the engine.

    My casting # is 14015446

Could something please tell me what I have?

Aslo, can I tell who built the engine or what parts we're used by the casting number?

Could that last digit be a 5? There is no casting number ending in 6. If it's 5, all it says is 454, 2 or 4 bolt, '78 thru '90....doesnt tell you much at all, you already knew it was a 454. Go to Mortec.com for casting number help. Cant the person who sold you the car tell you a little something about the engine?
