why did you o ring the block and run copper gaskets??there is no need to do this .and the leak could be from the gaskets being to hard not dead soft or the o rings are to hi this may make it leak did you use hylomar on the gaskets ?if so take the gaskets out heat them they will truns color and put them in water this will make them dead soft use hylomar on them use thin sewing thread a round water pass this will make o rings you can try this but if the o rings on the block are to hi it will leak as far this hp run the blower faster you should be looking at ex temps so you do not melt the pistons out .from the look s of this engine this thing should make a 750 hp+ but is the blower teflon lined?if not you will have to go over to drive it closer to 1to1 i have runed a blower for 5 years a548 big block 10 to1 with 10 boost and used 10-17 fel-pros head gaskets no o rings or copper gaskets

Ok thanks pat ! i dont know much about blowers pat . this is my first . the guy at the machine shop advised me to oring it . i guess hes not up to par ! he also put the heads on so im not sure about the gaskets being hard or dead soft as you say . i don,t know about the hylomar either ? what is hylomar ? so should i put head gaskets in oven or light them on fire or something then put them in cold water to make them dead soft ?you also said to use sewing thread around water holes how do you do this? im lost on this i will have to have a talk with him . also the blower is not striped not to sure about the lined teflon probably not . i got blower setup on a go deal altogether with carbs pulleys intake belts yattayata ! $2200,00 . i really apreciate any help you can give me !!!! also this is the pulley setup that cam with the deal . maybe you can tell me about what boost it would put out if i swap pulleys the other way i think its 12% underdriven now it put 5 pounds of boost , thanks again !!!!

hylomar is blue paste it is sticky this what is used on air planes engines hylomar and string is how air plane engine are put to gether this seams to work you can get the string from a air plane supple company put the string a round all water ports and stick it to block with the hylomar and the head studs or bolts be used on the part that goes in the block if not water will wick thru if this is stock block . the head gaskets may not be as soft as they can be heat them to color with a torch and set them in a pan of water.you can see down the blower with carbs off the rotors on the edge if lined will have teflon on them. as the boost 10 is a good place to be so you could try moving them bottom to top or getting the right one the best way is to check with a boost gauge and go from there. you try to find copper head gastets that have in with inbossed with printed seals on them i do not know if they are made ? some guys use yamabond in place of hylomar i hope this helps i have built 6 blower engines not one had copper gaskest on them i do not like them they work good at the track on top fuel engine or very hi boost engine

hylomar is very thick you do not want to use silcone.with the string you are making a printed seal gaskets.1000hp ?? the more boost the more power but more boost the more heat that why i have more comp than some guys run not running blower as hard not so much heat i do not know how much hp my engine is but the torque is really something i have HAD 700+ BIG BLOCK WITH OUT A BLOWER .BUT IF THE BELT IS ON THE BLOWER HANG ON FRYING THE DRAG RADIALS OFF AT 120 MPH IS NOT A BIG DEAL
