new owner of 78 z-28 someone put in a 427 mild cam .30 over dual pumper what is the timing for this? it has a edelbrock torker II 2.0 electronic ignition. holley carb avenger series. not sure of cfm. 850?

Assumung you mean ignition timing... 10-12 initial on damper then 36-38 total above 2500 rpm.

If the carb is a Street Avenger it is probably a 770 or 870 , they are really good carb's. 10-12 is a good place to start you could try a little more advance depending on if your motor likes it or not. That Z-28 should have plenty of power with the 427 . I hope gas prices level out soon ,it's really putting the squeeze on everyone!
