My 67 Camaro started life as a straight 6. When I bought it, a 396 from a 72 truck was sitting in it. On closer inspection the driver side header had been dimples quite severly around the steering colum to fit. Im debating selling the 396 for a 383 stroker or building up the 396....money is kind of a issue. I dont know what kind of headers they are, but they dont fit and i dont wanna run them when 2 of the pipes are almost closed. Anyone else run into this problem? Ideas? thanks in advance.
