10-18-2009 02:34 PM #1WTB project car 4K or less Rod, Muscle or Xdrag car

This probably is for MN members only- I will NOT pay shipping unless VERY local to MN's borders or shipping is included in the price.
1931 to 1948 street rod, Henry J, Austin, Anglia, 1955 Chevy (NOT a 56 ot 7) , 69-81 Corvette, 64 to 71 GM muslce car or 59 to 66 Impala- Cpe, Hardtop or Convert. .
-Car MUST have a TITLE NO exceptions,no bill of sale or title jumped cars.If its easy get one and call me.
-GOOD FRAME (I know where to look on 59-69 fords and chevys) Street rods MUST be set up for Chev V8 already.
-2 DRS only NO 4drs or wgns (except Chevelle or 55 chev 2dr wgns)
-Nothing showy or spendy. Primer cars OK
-NOTHING NEWER THAN 72 except corvettes ,
-Not into Camaros or Monte Carlo's after 72
-NO Rat rods or trucks, No problem w them just not my thing.
-Set up for Chevy V8 only, I am no longer capable of building mounts or welding.(bad health)
-I am NOT looking for a stripped out, back 40 rust bucket or a starter car. More or less an unfinished roller or abandoned finished car
-More or less solid. Needing a few minor patches OK, but NO whole panel or floor replacement cars.
-Complete w interior, usable trim and glass
-street rods MUST have top and back seat, so no 23-32 cpes or topless roadsters.
-I cannot pay for long distance shipping so in or very near MN only/
-I am looking for a home for a fresh built 500 HP BBC so basically a drivable roller W/O engine trans.
This will almost certainly be my last car and a keeper so I will be picky and I will not compromise on what I want. I am NOT rich on a disability retirement so do not plan on retiring on the sale or passing an illegal registration or scrap car off on a newbie. I am NO beginner (over 35 years in the hobby.Attended my first drag race in 1961 and hooked on cars ever since.
