    396 chevy nova

     



    have a 396 big block in the nova and was wondering what horsepower its kickin out from someone more experienced than me in my opinion i believe somewhere around 410. it is bored .30 over it has a torker 2.0 intake, new cam not sure what specs but its mild, has a 750 dbl pump carb and new heads but not sure what port size is. anybody have a educated response?

    It takes me 11 minutes to ride my bicycle from the house to the Post Office here in Tempe. How far is it to Cave Creek from here?

    Not knowing what 396 is in there is a big factor.....they came in 325, 350 and 375 hp versions.........If you have the L78 (375) version, you are looking at good horsepower.........they were way under rated.

    thank you, it was the 375 hp version the (L78) thanks for your guys help. i also learned it has new hooker procomp headers, new exhaust valves and oval port heads with 110 cc champers and 290cc intake
