I have been through similar reasoning for many, many years and as far as I know, an original steel deuce body will be hard to find and if found, not cheap. You might as well order a Brookville catalog and start saving if you want a metal deuce. Brookville is working on a metal three window coupe and if you start saving now you might be able to get one in a year or two. Brookville already has metal roadster bodies and of course there are quite a number of fiberglass deuce bodies; one of the most interesting is a Bebops Vicky body. As a person with sinus problems and having raised a family of three children, I would look hard at a Vicky body for a family rod rather than a roadster, but of course I only say that since I am totally hooked on a '29 roadster even if a sinus infection does me in (it may!), I have read too many articles featuring a California roadster.
