Can't get photobucket link to load.
Drivers side.
There are extra puckers, because I sewed in the patch panel rather than completely disassemble the cover. Looks ok though.
Not an expert but you might make sure that you get material that holds up to the uv sun light? Could be you did everything right but the sun might beat down on that side where ever its parked most often.
Secondly you have my full respect for taking on a new task like that. So many people would just pony up the grand and complain about the price for the rest of their lives.
Thirdly I have two Singer 111w115 and I think the other one is a 111w116. Old commercial machines that have been well treated and work great. No reverse but you get used to spinning the material to go in the oppisite direction. I traded work for one and the other just kinda of fell into my lap. Like you I started sewing and to be honest im really glad I took the time to learn. Your seat covers look geat but exceptional for your first go at it. A little practice and it wont be long before you will be charging folks $1,000.00 to do their rides. Great thread and like my sig line says Change is Truly Opportunity!
Thanks bob. You may have something there, as the back seat is intact.
One would think the apholstery shop whom sold me the fabric would have known if it were not uv ok.
I guess I'll knock out the back seat also, but It's on the back burner.
