Interior door pulls

My car has been "finished" for several years now except for interior door pulls. I looked at a number of different types, but none of them really worked with the style of the car--until now. I came across as pair of straps from a Buick Riviera on Ebay and they seemed like just the ticket. I recovered them, painted the chrome end covers, and voila! I now have door pulls. My interior is finished (again!).

I think you've told us before, but how did you attach the aluminum escutcheon around the latch area on the door panel? Contact cement?

I used Superglue.

Interesting you point that out--I am contemplating a cup holder but I haven't quite figured it out yet.

Arm rests? Arm rests? We don't need no stickin' arm rests! lol!

oh thats right---arm out the window!!!!!!didn't need arm rests until air conditioning came along
