Wow, Bat, that turned out beautiful!
Great looking interior!!! Keep showing the car and grabbin' them trophies!!!!
You did great, Bat. What was your source for the "heat sealed pleat" material? Have any trouble matching the color for your flat pieces?
I'm in Miami,it's got a fairly big supply house"Sobie Fabrics",thay have a big stock of vinyls,so matching was pretty good,I took some samples of each out side in the sunlight to match up the whites,seem to be best way I think ,even if your doing some other color.
rspears - I live in a little podunk town that hasn't got squat for resources, so when I was ready to do the interior in my coupe I had to do a little looking around. I bought my seat covers from Seat Covers Unlimited (Seat Covers Unlimited) and then found this source for my door panel and headliner material: Gary's Upholstery ()Upholstery Supplies, Leather Upholstery, Naugahyde, Upholstery Foam . They have pleated and flat materials in matching colors. I thought the prices were reasonable, too.
Another "nice job" from me. It looks great!
Very nice job
(I do cringe though whenever I see white upholstery after owning a car with it)
We did make some pop on seat covers to use when not at a show, from two white baby matriss covers [they have like a rubber band all around that goes under],had to cut them down a little to fit nice. White is always going to be hard to keep clean,but my son wanted only white,so be it!
Thanks much,like every one ,we love hearing how good you all think we did.
We started seeing some ware showing on the rug from drivers heels,so took out and added some scuff pads made by cutting two nice size parts from a cheep floor matt and sewing them on to rug at the right places.:cool::3dSMILE: Photo is with other rugs and doorpandels out ,we made the rugs velcro down in 3 main parts so they will be EZ to remove and clean.
We were at a show this passed week end,my son found someone to test out the upholstery that made it all look better even :3dSMILE:
what upholstery?
I have to say, that improved padding is even nicer :-}
