tranny bolted to 396

ok what im looking for is a 4 or 5 speed standard trany to bolt up to my 67 396 i dont want to have to screw around with cuttig up the floor or the tranny hump in the floor other than to stickthe shifter through ,,what transmissions are tough enough to say push 400 plus hp and torqu and yet will bolt up to my engine and only have to bolt in a new tranny mount....i know that there are a few 4 speed standard tranny avalible in 67 camaro's btu my question is can they handle a mild modified moter at the hp and trq rating i have projected? and what one is best

Muncie M-20 (wide ratio) M-21 (close ratio) or M-22 (close ratio high perforance) rock crusher will bolt right up. . A Ford toploader will bolt up with an adapter bellhousing.
