I am having a problem with the shifter for my transmission. First of all i have a C-4 Tranny with a column shifter. Now the other day i hammered my gas to pas another car but when i did i felt a light jolt in the peddle and the shifter moved up and shifted out of gear. Now whenever I take off from idle the shifter will move depending on how hard i step on the gas. If i step on it too hard it will shift itself completely out of gear. Ne suggestions?
