Ford top loader
Ian and I went to the swap meet at the fairgrounds and this is what we came home withIMG_7136.jpgIMG_7134.jpgIMG_7132.jpg
The case is a 64-66 Mustang and the tailshaft 67-71 galaxy 289-390. The shifter is original and we paid $950 for it the way it sits. The gears and synchros appear to be in good condition and everything moves smoothly.
I couldn't resist the grille with the original emblem for $50.Ken Thomas

Just checked out David Kee's website and the tranny came in 68/69 Fairlane, Falcon 289,302 wide ratio 28 spline. From what I gather we might not have any modifications to the yoke or driveshaft.Last edited by NTFDAY; 08-22-2022 at 08:01 AM.

Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
