4r70w initial lube

In process of putting 4r70w behind built yblock motor. Unsure what to use to lube torque converter pilot and crank mating area. Most research uses the term "light grease" or ATF, lithium grease----. First auto trans install, so wondering what the experienced use. I had put antiseize on input shaft to deter corrosion, should that be removed and then coated with ATF? I plan to coat the front pump bushing/seal and converter neck with ATF at install. Trans has been dynode so it has fluid and I know to put a QT of ATF in converter. Any help appreciated.

Yes, any light grease will suffice. I don't like the idea of the anti-seize but as long as you didn't "goop" / slober it on.. I guess it's okay. it's a coating, not a lubricant, it will wash off when in contact with the ATF fluid.

And good choices for the convertor journal, I use the same light grease there also, anything to keep the area lubed while waiting for the startup.

Thanks for the info and the welcome . If ATF will wash the anti-seize off, I will clean it and use ATF fluid on all surfaces. Making sure to get every detail on this install correct, appreciate the help
