All I know is that my brother in law owns a transmission repair shop and has told me that if I flush my tranny, I will be visiting his shop shortly after. He has replaced valve bodies quite often on transmissions after someone flushes them. The stuff it knocks loose gets stuck in the aluminum valve body and makes a mess spools.
