I have a rebuilt TH350 that fried the forward clutch pack after 200 miles (it had a leak) When I removed the valve body, there was no spacer plate. Does it have to have one? Is this some sort of cheap redknek modification? (I'm a redknek too, so don't take that personally) And also, could this have contributed to to distroyed clutch pack?

If there was no plate the trans would not work at all... It is probably stuck to the valve body. Usually the case whenever I pulled one apart for a shift kit install.

I guess I must have accidentally thrown it away. Maybe I thought it was a gasket, IDK. Does anyone know if B&M shift kits come with the plate? I don't know if they put a shift correction kit in it or not because it was rebuilt before I got the truck so I figure nows a good time and I've seen some kits on ebay that include the plate. Can get a B&M kit from Advance for $40
plate comes in kit you did not thru check balls out to ? i would buy the trans go but Bm is ok i set it up for RV use
lol, no I kept the balls! And towing is my main purpose for this truck, along with a little offroad play. Thanks guys!!
