I thought about the 3500, but there pretty finiky and a bit weak.. Have 1 in my K1500. locks out of 3rd sometimes, but it usually shifts fine. makes some noise in 1st and second. has 150k on it.. Your Sonoma has the same trans, but takes a diffrent yoke and shifter
So Matt-your saying it is just a tat better than the T5's??.
about the same. It's stronger than an S10 T5, but about the same as a Mustang/ WC T5. Just is more complicated.. Integral bell also limits you to small block Mopar or Chevy RWD engines. Hurst discontinued the S10 shifter, and the C/K series shifter will soon be discontinued, so getting a cool hotrod looking shifter will get harder, and the C/K shifter will need a new shift arm to fit most hotrods, which is another $69 or so ontop of the cost of the shifter
