Hi all!!

Ive just got my car running for the first time in 15 years and I went to select "D" to find the engine was still idling like it was in "N" no change at all, none of the gears work at all, the car just sits there idling while I shift the stick through the gears.
My friend says it looks like the box has no fluid and after checking it didnt could this be the issue dont wanna throw £30 worth of fluid in it to find its nothing to do with it.

Any help appreciated!
