Okay now i am confused i built a motor got a new torque converter and used my tranny that i had its a th350 my motor is throwing the bolts and i used blue loctite then i used red loctite and they still fell out and now i just tacked them to the flex plate and guess what it broke a weld on one bolt and that one fell out so i dont know whats wrong its getting anoying and i dont know what to do the motor is balanced to i am about ready to get rid of it need help badly.
well your holes may be to big in the fly wheel then they will shift .i think this must be the case. if you tack it and now it is shifting if the tacks did bust .tacks are not that strong.i drill the fly wheel and stall use 7/16 -20 or 1/2 bolts.grade 8 with lock nut that ends it. 620 loc tite on it you will never get them off with out heat .with loctite you have to do one bolt at a time it can dry fast .leave the bolts in and take one out at a time .but if the holes are to big in the fly wheel then its not going to work .if you do not fix the bolt holes
The snout on the converter should be a tight fit in the hole in the crankshaft. Some cheapie aftermarket converter snouts aren't the right diameter, causing problems such as yours.

Bad tires causing harmonic thru drive train
Different size rear tires that can cause harmonic thru posi and up drive line
Sheared key in cranksnout (probably as a result of any of the previous and now contributing to the bolt problem
crossed plug wires causing an uneven running engine resulting in harmonics
What you need to do-----is there vibration????? what rpm???? motor shaking???? solid motor mounts?????trans mount????bent drive shaft????wheel????steering wheel shake??? starter bendix wear????
Back on June 23 you posted about a new dampner----what was wrong with the old one??? Did you ever get the install straightened out????did your bolt problem come along since then???
yep i was thinking i seen this post ? why was the damper replaced? there could be more to this ? on the big engines i have to re work the fly wheel . but a 350 it should not be working them has hard as the big hi TQ engines
