I currently have a FMX transmission behind a 302 in a 1976 F100.

I intend to swap to an AOD for a variety of reasons (aftermarket support, higher horsepower builds, overdrive, lockup convertor, etc).

Looking through my data, it seems that with this truck of this time period the FMX and c5 shared a flywheel, the AOD and c5 also shared a flywheel.

So I guess what I'm asking (in a roundabout way), does anyone know if I can use the FMX flywheel on the AOD?
