How much is this T-5 worth?

    Hi all!

Me and my dad have a chevy S-10 T-5. Its a earlier one,1986 and below, with the mechanical speedo. He's a tranny guy, and has his own shop, and he got this about a year and a half ago for a flat head ford builder here in town. The guy hasn't come and got it, or payed for it, and he hasn't heard a word from him. As for the tranny, all that they wanted him to do, was to take it apart, clean and inspect it, and reseal it, so its a good used unit. How much is this worth, ball park? Its taking up shop space, so we are kinda curious. Now if it was a world class........LOL!

    Thanks!

I've seen S-10 T5 's go for anywhere from free to $300. Around here, I'd say $150 to $200, but I can't say about your area. Try searching "completed listings" in ebay.

We are lucky to get anything out of them at the junkyard here..
I remember when hot rods were all home made.
