sbc bellhousing questions
alright, i need to know if a bellhousing for a 153 tooth flywheel is externally smaller than a 168 tooth flywheel bellhousing. what dimensions would be different? would the bellhousing be shorter (length wise)? smaller diameter wise? and would it slope off faster (shrink to the 4 bolt hole pattern size quicker)
im looking for a smaller bellhousing for a hybrid swap im doing, and im thinking that a 153tooth will help me out? how much difference would be great! will i save a full 1/2" or more?
thanks in advance,
chris
