C6 torque convertor leak down

I have a 67 C6 in my 65 country squire that has been resealed but still leaks fluid,it does not leak if its driven frequently but I have it in a garage I rent and is only driven a few times a year and it leaks a bit when it sits for months. I heard that the torque convertors leak the fluid back into the trans causing the fluid to come out the vent when sitting so is that true and if so I am thinking about putting a piece of hose on the vent and bringing it up on the firewall behind the motor so it wont leak out when sitting. Hi, I have the same problem, the went is to high for it to leak, for me it is the front seal, I have resealed it several times and it does not help, I think it is the converter mine have a small groove in i it.

There is a small indentation in the front of the case near the pump. This is the rod that has an o-ring on it that many people don't replace on a rebuild. It will leak. You can clean it out good and put some silicone in the hole. Short of that you need to take it out and do a reseal on it.
