I have a 92 5.0 HO, converted to carbs, no cpu with an AOD, Lokar shifter, floor mount, that is going in my project car.
Does anyone out there have or know where I can get info on how to wire up the AOD?:)

I don't believe there is anything to wire other than nuetral safety and back-up lights. Lokar has the cable for the throttle valve, which the adjustment of is critical. Joe
TV cables are a royal pain with the AOD. My advice, run it more advanced untill you get it to downshift a little hard. Then back it off by 1/2 inch. Works every time for me. Also, their right. The AOD harness is just for lights and switch. Enjoy.
Thanks! The is a 4 pin connector near the shift arm and I was a little concerned that she would not function with out electrical wiring.
I'm ordering the Lokar kick down cable.
Sounds like a neat car. In the 70's I had a Healy 3000 with a 327 and three speed, what fun. How far along is this project? Joe
the 4 pin is the neutral safety switch. If it has a key-shape in the middle of it.
WOW, a 3000 w/327!
I have the 5.0 w/AOD ready to drop in, motor and trany mounts installed ( I have had the combo in and out so many times! ) I'm installing a new wiring harnes, new four piston calipers and brembo discs up front, all 4 new HD springs and shocks, fiber glass trany tunnel, Lokar shifter, autometer guages, March pulleys, and the list goes on and on and on! If you wish, I can add you to my list of helpers, gear heads that have helped and follow my progress. You know, two steps forward, one step back!
I send pics to up date the process. I could not do this without HELPERS! Send me your email address if you are interested. ( dwatson@cet.edu )
The Lokar shifter has a neutral switch on it. Do I still need th wire up the AOD?
I'll take a pic tonight and send for visual confirmation.
I'm not a trany Man, and know enough to be dangerous!
Thanks for the help!
Nope, you can use either one. The AOD does not require any electronics to function. Joe
Joe, did you get the pics?
I did, super job your doing. I'm jealous. Joe
