Red or Blue Locktight on the bolts that hold on my Flex Plate???
Hi Everyone, What color Locktight should I use on the bolts that hold my Flex Plate on? Red or Blue? 392 Hemi, 8 holes that are tapped for 1/2" x 20. Should I use lock washers? Thanks

Red if ya don't ever need it to come apart.
Blue if ya need it to come back apart.
Blue and the proper torque should be fine.......

would be good to use on someones car you did not like

....Thank You Hworrell & Pat, I will use the Red than. My car rattles big time. The bolts that hold the Torque Converter to the Flex Plate came loose twice & the car only had like 12 K on it.... Thanks again ;

red comes apart easier if you add heat first..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I use red on anything that is critical to safe operation. That's a pretty long list.
