The 2004R is a tranny that has seen some great developements over the past two decades. It can handle quite a bit of torgue and horsepower if built right. Reciprocating mass is quite light even compared to a th350. Kind of depends on what your intentions are.
The 200 is a great little trans, cousin to the 700. It's a four speed like the 700. The TH400 and 350's are both 3 speeds, so the 200 will get you a little better mpg than either the 350/400. I know some builders who prefer the 200 in their builds.
The 200 is not a 4 speed overdrive. The 2004R is though. I wish that those reading this will not get the trannys confused.
Here is a link that I have saved in my favorites. He might be a member here.

I put one in my 80 camaro.I just had to move the crossmember back.Having the overdrive was great, but I like changing gears so I installed a four speed.
