    TH400 vs 400TB Tranny

I have a question. I currently have a column mounted shifter on my TH400 in my Abone. I'm thinking about buying a Lokar or Gennie floor mount. I have my eye on a Lokar on eGay that says it's for a 400TB tranny. Is there a difference between a TH400 and a 400TB? Will it work on my TCI TH400?

    Thanks in advance.

Probably a typo. I don't have an A bone (wish I did, though) but I have one of the Lokar floor mount shifters on my TH400. Because of the closeness of the tranny to my car floor, it was the only one that would work. And it works very well.

This one's easy...go to Lokar's web page and see what models that they make this specific shifter for.....and you will find that the Egay seller had his finger in the wrong place when he typed the ad.

You won't believe this, but I contacted the seller before I posted here. I didn't want to act stupid. I thought maybe GM had a tranny I didn't know about. He said it WASN'T a typo and it was for a 400TB!!! Look on Lokar site. Considering that, maybe I shouldn't buy it from him! (LOL)

TB stands for TurboBubbamatic. It is the southern fried version of the venerable TurboHydromatic.
