    i think some how your shifter rod is in need of adjusting that s hook if filp over will bind but you would of had to have the valve body out and if bent there really on load on the S clip to make it bend

    I had the valve body off. Had to do it to get the detent rod to connect to the new detent. When i lowered it I forgot about the s link so i grabbed it quickly and removed it. I could not visualy tell if it bent open any.
