Well, not really a gear question as it is a question about a posi-trac units.
I have a "71" chevy pick-up with a sb 350 and a th350 tranny with a stock rearend with 3.73-1 gears. I would like to put a posi unit in it as one wheel grabbing ( or breaking loose) just isn't getting me down the road. Have looked at a couple of setups and not sure which would be good for me. One is a locker differential from Richmond and the other is an Eaton setup. Anybody have any thoughts on who has the better unit for the street? Won't see any track usage in the forseeable future just your everyday street driving.
Price wise there isn't enough to really make a difference, so I'm just wondering who makes a better street setup. Thanks for any and all thoughts.
