Best trans brake for th-400 behind 632 bbc
looking for a good trans brake that has manual/automatic shifting , have to have it for my transmission guy so he can put mine together

Huh???? Always thought a transbrake just locks the tranny between reverse and low, didn't know they had a thing to do with shifting....??????Last edited by Dave Severson; 10-17-2007 at 01:52 PM.

Heh heh....be nice now. Dave's right. Two different components there. You'll need both transbrake and valve body for manual shifting.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Could it be a 10114182? If so, it is a Gen V 454, 4 bolt 1991 (or later). Hope that helps..
