i jsut dont know
well lets see here i took a th400 in for rebuild actually they pulled it and installed it then dyno tuned it for me. i get it back with the same problem it had. a whining noise the reason i took it there int the first place. then they tell me that i never told them that after i took it back and complained about it. i still took the truck from there cause the way i see it i am gonna find out if it isnt other stuff on my own. like stahl converter or pump. so has of today it isn the converter i know i just changed it. whine still there. but if you took a tranny in wouldnt you expect it to be right when you got it back especially if you took it there to get rid of a noise and get it back with a noise. then while having pulled the trans to put the converter in the front pump seal still has the factory paint on it. i am jsut venting i paid 1300 dollars to make this right and i get it back in the same condition that i took there in. they tell me there is a one year warranty on it but they never wrote taht down on the reciept either. jsut like the title says i just dont know

A shot in the dark here. Have you traced the cooler lines for crimping or pinching? Maybe a restriction in that part of the system. It's almost always starvation that makes a 400 whine.

Did you pay with a credit card? If so, put in a protest with the CC company. That ALWAYS gets their attention, and they have to prove they are right to get the funds released. It is a pretty simple process on your end.
