Holley carb, C-4 kickdown Question??
Here's the deal I'm working with. I'm trying to figue out what I need to do to get the correct linkage on a holley 4777 carb for the kickdown. I see a couple parts on holly's website but the descriptions are pretty vague. Any help would be great.
Thanks
or.....should i ditch the kickdown and get a ratchet shifter.....will that work even?Last edited by totalxbadass; 06-29-2007 at 09:16 PM.

From the Summit catalog I would would say HLY-20-41 and HLY-20-91. DP's and automatic trans don't work well together.Ken Thomas

So I'm hearing, I might look into another route, but I figure if I have it I'd try it. What exactly will I see with a DP and the auto?

DP's have mechanical secondaries and tend to come in too quick when running an automatic which causes a very rich condition and bog on acceleration.Ken Thomas

Awesome, I will put 5 quarts in when the time comes. I've always used Valvoline, what viscosity would be recommended for So.Cal.?, and thanks again
