    Th350 & t-case questions

HI, I just recently picked up a freshly rebuild TH350 and found a problem, my old tranny had a long tail shaft with like a 6" adapter plate that lets you attach a t-case, the tranny i just got has a short shaft, and the t-case will not bolt up seeing as the adpater plate is to long, do they sell a short one? and where would i get it? People have told me that i need a differnt t-case, i had a 208c on it and now have a 205, whcih is a differnt adapter plate...and now im having troubles finding an adapter plate that will bolt to the 205... If anyone can please give me some info or websites that would be awesome. I know this is a hotrod car forum but it seem like all the 4x4 forums suck. Maybe somebody could tell me a good site for 4x4? THANKS

Your Swap would have been a lot easier with the right trans case. Juggling adapters around moves the rear mount also, and then you have to change drive shafts.Check with www.4xheaven.com and maybe they can help you get what you need. Hank
