Well, pulled the powerglide from the Cougar yesterday, now i have to cut off the bellhouseing and bolt on the new J.W. Bellhousing. They sure make it look simple in that sheet they give you with it. Whats with the paper anyways? I thought i just needed the new bolts, but apperantly they also send you a sheet with pictures on it (nope, looked all over it, not one woman picture on those sheets... )

This bellhousing is supposed to bolt a powerglide to a BBF without having to use the adapter plate. That and i needed a new SFI flexplate sheild anyways, and with this bellhousing i dont need one. ( Time to get the cage/car tagged again) Like i said, easier said then done. Apperantly you have alot of measuring to do before cutting up the powerglide...

OMG, i sure hope i dont cut threw the pump area. How does that saying go? Look at pictures, then take to milling shop?? But hard to do that when the closest milling shop is 200 miles away...

No worries guy's, I have a box of kleenex in the shop just incase i to deep into the pump area, One never knows when one needs a crying towel...

I'll keep ya's posted on how it works out.
