B&M Shift Kit
Hello, new to the boards here, but looks like a fantasic site. I have a 65 Mustang with a fairly hopped up engine. Professional built, Aluminum heads, cam, headers ect ect. 3.50 gears.
The area that needs work is the tranny. Its a c-4 (non-cruis-o-matic). I have no idea how many miles its got on it, but over the past year or so, its developed a leak. Not a gusher, but if you let it sit long enough you'll find quite a bit of oil. It still shifts pretty good, although it obviously slips a bit when the oil gets low.
I've got a B&M shift improver kit. Has anybody installed one of these? Any tips or comments on it? I don't need the thing to rattle my teeth loose when it shifts, I'd just like smooth crips shifts that shift when I shift, without hesitation.
Thanks for the help,
David, AZ
