If there's only one hole in the trunk, the fan won't do much good. You need somewhere for the hot air to exit, as well as the cool air to enter. If you have the right size radiator and a good fan, mounting it in front of the radiator should still work. Remember, most trans coolers are build into the radiator anyhow.
