Thread: C4 tranny problem

I have a problem with my tranny , it's not shifting right . It's a new tranny from TCI that I bought a little over a year ago and has less than 1 mile on it .
Here's the problem , the tranny is a 3 speed. It has park , reverse , neutral , and 2nd . It seems that 1st is not there and when it goes to shift from 2nd to drive there's nothing , it's like drive doesn't exist.
I've tried adjusting the shifting linkage , but still nothing , and the fluid level is full. The shifter goes through all the gears but no drive when it's running.

Anybody have a clue whats the problem ?

c4s had a problem with valves sticking in the valve body. i've had to pull the valve body back off and clean it again after a rebuild a lot of times. i'd get somebody that knows what he is doing to pull the valve body off and clean it and free up any stuck valves.
