Really don't know. Had it rebuilt recently - took it out for a run the other night - ran great for about a mile - I turn it around heading for the house and it got sluggish - coasted aways and well towed it home - thought I had blown the gasket - replaced it and I should have known better -the way it was running out - found a hole above the pan - looked like fine thread but it is a area that is hard to reach - tried a - I believe 1/4 plug- pipe - fine thread - the threads took for a-bit - didn't want to torque it much - as I didn't want to mees up the threads.

Yea well - thanks - "Streets" - I yanked it myself - etc.. not really an option at this time - unless - I'm going to do 'all' again - I'll call him this week - thought I might find a "quick fix" here - Thanks though

If it ran dry it could be damaged. I agree-take it to the rebuilder.

It didn't run completely dry. Although - I didn't think of this option - what would be damaged - the pump? As it loss it's 'drive' I pretty much coasted - whole night 'out' wasn't over 15-20 minutes and no more then 50 mph- very short duration - wasn't over 4 miles -- ?? Of course - what U don't know - U don't know -- U don't know!

Didn't mean to get 'smart' or anything - sorry 'bout the lack of info. - I initially thought all turbo 400 cases had this plug - and actually my next question was what it was for? Maybe this case was set - up for ?? something else - the case is beefed up around this hole and it looked like a standard 'stamp' of the case - at any rate - I will talk with the rebuilder tomorrow - thanks for the suggestions - I really do - appreciate it. Another case - of thinking there was a simple solution.
