If you're going to make power, the 350 wont take it. Save yourself the trouble and get a 400.
If you do stick with the 350, I just used this book to do mine: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/089...Fencoding=UTF8
I will hopefully tell you by the end of the week if I was successful.
The book is excellent for the home mechanic. It has very thorough procedures with a lot of pictures and also tells you how to get by with tools you might have instead of telling you to go to the dealer and buy the tools the pros would have. I did have to make one of my own tools to do the reverse/low clutch piston, but you don't really need to remove it. My transmission was full of metal so I had to tear everything apart and clean it.
