The price seems fair. I just had my C6 gone through last year. Complete rebuild with extra clutches, stage-2 shift kit, manual/automatic valve body, and a new torque converter. It was all bench work, no vehicle removal. My final price was just a bit over $1000. The rebuilder also warranties his work with a 24,000 mile 2 yr warranty.
