OK, here's one for the resident experts. I bought all new polished alum pans including the flex plate cover for my rod. The counter guy says the flexplate cover which is for a 350 will fit my 400 with some minor trimming and that the bolt pattern is the same. Does anybody here have any experience with this, what all is involved with trimming this cover to fit a 400?
