trans ?
would a 283 rebuilt stock bore 0.60 kill a t5 or would a 700r4 be better ?

If you're going T-5 hunting, just throw in a few more $$$$ and get the "world class" T-5. They have a lot higher torque rating. I doubt a rebuilt mild 283 would hurt a T-5, they hold up quite well behind the HO 302's. I used a world class T-5 behind a 408 Windsor stroker motor in a stock weight '83 Mustang, worked fine.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
