What all is involved in replacing kickdown cable on a 1980 camaro, 305 with a turbo 350 tranny?

The cables are usually just held on the trans with one small bolt. Unfastened, the cable sheath should slide up and inner wire should have a hook on the end. Just disengage the hook and rehook the replacement.I intend to live forever; so far, so good.
