Strange that you would automaticly go with an AOD rather than a 5speed or a 4spd manual with OD. As for the TV cable issue with the AOD, there is anohter option. The older AODs used a shift rod to controll shift points. This is a LOT easier to install than fighting with the TV cable. One problem that may come with this tranny behind a 351 is burning of the clutch packs. You may want to consider doubling the OD packs, as there are only 2 if memory serves me right. Best of luck man
