I am new to your club. So if this has been asked before, please remember I'm new. And that's my excuse!
Ok, I have a 55 Lincoln Sport Coupe. The engine is the 341 Lincoln Y block. I would like to rebuild this engine and add an AOD transmission in place of the stock 3 speed transmission. If the transmission can be changed easily, then the engine will be rebuilt with a McCulloch Supercharger added for show and a little street fun.
The car is in great shape and will be a fun project.
Does anyone know if this transmission swap can be done, or has been done? If so, can you help me with this information?
