Hello All, This is my first post so please forgive me.
I have a 66 Comet that had a 289 and 3 speed column shifter. The car came with the floor shift coversion kit but no instruction. I have pulled the motor and tranny but I can't seem to figure out how to get the shifter on the tranny.

Does the shifter mount to the tranny or do I have to rig something on the floor to mount the shifter too?
