Hello There.........I have a 85 Montecarlo SS im getting ready to install the blueprinted 383 (350 bored&stroked)chevy SB.... Mated to a Race ready 700r4 Trans......I have the G-Force transcrossmember.......I still require the Driveshaft .....
Q...How long is the driveshaft w/o U-joints..W/U joints
Q...Cheaper Easyer To Go Custom rebuild...or....
The Trans Came From A Reputable shop....but without much paperwork ..Casting numbers at the back of the pass side on the vertical pad on the end of the bellhouseing( Case) :C 1HL123126
Numbers off the Tailshaft Are :8642317-1
Q...is it pre 85 or.....first # in the casting right ...2001
Is there any free teck diagrams on exploded view outside tranny as i need to figure out if i have the Correct speedo conections,
Theres a four pin femal socket driverside front that i dont really know what its for i think thats the lockup switch
theres a two wire female plug at the base tailshaft i think thats the Speedo
...if so ive got the original mechanical speedo conections that were on the th350 3-speed
Q...is there a converter or should i put mechanical speedo attachment on the trans
As you can see ill have alot of questions
That`s were the tech picture, links,PM,Whatever Any help would be apperciated
