    Ford AOD Trans

     



    I need information on my ford aod transmission. I have no computer and I don't understand how it's going to shift without the computer. I'm not real familiar with how the system works. Any information would help.

    If it is an aod transmission, it shift via a TV cable. the electronics your seeing are for the neutral saftey switch and the vehicle speed sensor. The one on the transmission iself is for the NSS. the one hooked to the speedometer cable is for the VSS.
