motor=add 5 qts. start motor let run untill oil filter is full, cut motor off, recheck and top off (some people fill oil filter before installing it on the motor, i dont) in that case add 4 more qts. check and top off

trans=add 6 qts, crank motor, in park, add and fill untill its full, top off after trans get hot. 10 to 12 qts.
